CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) URGENT PRACTICE NOTICE
To help reduce the potential spread of infection we are advising all patients to phone before coming to the surgery.
We are limiting access to those patients who have been in contact by phone, have been assessed by their GP and have been invited to be seen at the medical centre. This is to protect vulnerable patients who may be attending and staff.
We must emphasise – do not attend the medical centre for an appointment, prescription or advice – PHONE FIRST.
Patients with possible Coronavirus symptoms – new persistent cough or temperature – should contact the NHS Helpline on 111 for advice and not the practice.
If you have another medical concern you should contact the appointments line – 93343500- as usual and staff will request some information from you to inform the GP.
Requests for medication can be made via the website, telephone or through one of the local pharmacies. Patients will be required to collect their prescription from one of the local pharmacies.
Please follow this guidance and the government guidance to the public regarding hand washing, social distancing, self-isolation etc.
We regret that these measures are necessary, but these are extraordinary circumstances.
